About

Hope, for everyone

Why Blessed Hope exists, who it's for, and what we believe.

Blessed Hope began with a simple conviction: the world needs more good news. Not shallow positivity that ignores pain, but real hope, the kind that holds when life is hard.

Every day we share short moments: a verse, a quote, a reflection. Every so often we publish longer reads for quiet evenings. All of it is meant to leave you a little lighter than you came.

Who this is for

Everyone. If you’re a lifelong Christian, welcome home. If you belong to another faith, or none, or you’re not sure what you believe, you’re welcome too. You don’t need to agree with us to find something here. We’d simply love for you to leave encouraged.

Where we come from

Our name comes from Titus 2:13: “looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”

Blessed Hope grew out of the Seventh-day Adventist tradition, and a few of its treasures shape everything we share:

  • Hope: the promise that Jesus will return and make all things new.
  • Rest: the Sabbath, a weekly gift of rest and a reminder that we’re loved, not just useful.
  • Wholeness: caring for body, mind and spirit as one gift.
  • Love: every person carries God’s image and deserves kindness and dignity.

We hold these with open hands. Our aim is never to argue but to encourage, and to point gently to the God who is love (1 John 4:8).

How we handle Scripture

We take accuracy seriously. Scripture is quoted from the King James Version (public domain) unless noted, with full references so you can read it in context. Quotes are attributed to their original source. If you ever spot a mistake, please tell us and we’ll fix it.

Where the moments come from

Many of our moments are first shared across social media by the Blessed Hope community, then gathered here so they’re easy to find, revisit and pass on. When a moment comes from a specific post, we link back to it.

The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
